*HAPPY INDEPENDENCE NIGERIA DAY*

Great country with great potentials, natural minerals, and abundant green vegetation. God gave us this land, we should nurse and watch it grow.

I, Hon Prince Nnamsom Nwafor-Orizu want to wish Nigeria happy independence, but at the same time, I want to say that the Federal Government should do more to recognise the South East. We wish Nigeria well and pray for a better tomorrow.

As we celebrate, remember, Anambra is God's own state, devoid of God fatherism. Let's move forward and not drag our dear state backwards.

Happy Independence Day Nigeria, Happy Independence Day Anambra, happy Independence Day to you.

Anambra State will not go back to slavery.
